Machine Force Ltd are able to offer training on a wide range of machines, including the increasingly popular telescopic handlers (telehandlers). Telehandler training can be undertaken at either your site or ours, and successful completion of the course results in a nationally recognised CPCS operator card, as we endeavour to ensure "real world" telehandler training rather than purely theoretical.

The telehandler training course covers essential features of telescopic handler operation and maintenance, how to avoid the potential dangers during operation, how to assess loads, move them safely and how to get the best from your telehandler in different conditions.

Machine Force Ltd is registered with CPCS for a wide scope of training requirements in England. Additionally we meet the criteria as instructors. We provide continuing Professional Development courses, keeping up to date with current industry standard either on your site for group sessions or at ours for individuals. As such Machine Force can ensure your personnel are to operate these versatile machines through an affective telehandler training course.

Telescopic Handlers (Tele-handler) - Background


Telescopic handlers, telehandlers, are versatile 4 wheeled single boom rough terrain lifting devices, usually they're 4 wheeled steered machine that have a rigid chassis for great stability and can tow significant loads with the appropriate tow hitch.


Most telehandlers have a hydraulic extending boom which is mounted along the centre line of the chassis with an offset cab, this keeps the overall profile of the machine low, whilst offering the most stable platform over rough terrain.


Telescopic handlers are used in a wide variety of roles but the majority are used for industrial and agricultural material handling. They can also, when used with the appropriate personnel platform, be used as a elevating work platform.


In industrial and agricultural applications requiring forward reach and load handling capability but where access is limited or work space is tight, a telehandler is often the most effective solution.
