​Construction Site Safety Supervisor (CSSS) - The NPORS Construction Site Safety Supervisor (CSSS) course ensures those with Site Supervisory responsibilities understand the expectations and their contribution to workplace safety. The course covers the following topics: health and safety legislation, risk assessment, accident investigation, communication skills, and leadership.

The CSSS scheme is a collection of health and safety training courses covering operative, supervisor and management training. These courses support the industry by providing the knowledge and expertise to manage concerns, including risks and environmental matters.

Construction Site Safety Manager (CSSM) - The Construction Site Safety Manager (CSSM) is specifically for site managers. The course provides site managers with an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues as well as their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities. The course covers the following topics: health and safety legislation, risk assessment, accident investigation, communication skills, and leadership.

 

Grants - All courses within the CSSS Scheme have been approved and mapped by CITB, allowing for grant claims. The CITB Grants Scheme provides grants for employers in the construction industry who offer training for their workforce.
