In Line with the Government Strategy for Construction for a single logo that card schemes can work to, and as a result of the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) decision to award the single logo status to CSCS, the NPORS Construction Operator Card is issued in line with the requirements stipulated by the CLC and displays the CSCS logo.

The NPORS N202 qualification signifies training and certification for operating a 360° excavator. It's a nationally recognized accreditation for plant operators in the UK. The course covers both theoretical and practical aspects of excavator operation and safety.

  The training duration varies based on experience, ranging from 1 to 10 days. 

• Accreditation:

  The NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) is the awarding body. 

• Certification Validity:

  NPORS certifications are typically valid for 5 years, requiring renewal before expiration. 

• PPE Requirements:

  Specific PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is essential for safety during practical training and assessments. It's crucial to check with the course provider for their specific requirements. 

• Experienced Worker Assessment:

  Experienced operators can opt for a test-only option, known as an Experienced Worker Assessment, to obtain their certification.
