Course Overview

The NPORS N100 Excavator as a Crane course is tailored for experienced excavator operators who require the skills to use a 360-degree excavator for lifting operations. This course combines both theoretical knowledge and hands-on training, ensuring operators are equipped to safely and efficiently operate an excavator as a crane.

Prerequisites

• Valid Excavator Licence: Candidates must hold a valid excavator licence with at least 12 months remaining before expiry.

• CITB Health, Safety & Environmental Test: Candidates must have passed this test within the last two years.

• English Proficiency: A solid understanding of both spoken and written English is required.

• Communication: Master the use of signal codes and hand signals, particularly when working alongside a slinger/signaller.

• Safety: Learn how to ensure both the safety of the excavator and the integrity of the load being lifted.

Course Duration

The course typically lasts between 1-2 days, depending on whether you are receiving individual or group training. Refresher courses and testing are completed in one day.

Qualification Awarded

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded the NPORS N100 Excavator as a Crane qualification, which is valid for 2 years.
